The Factory

Where the clothes are actually made

Still in Manhattan like the old days, still made one at a time. No piece work, no outsourcing, no sweatshops.

By real seamstresses who take pride in what they do.

Ági Says

"I never expected to have a factory. I always thought that I would use contractors to do the work, but as my business grew, I realized that the only way to get the quality I wanted was to make the clothes ourselves."

"Over the years we've taken more space as it became available in our building and have added specialty machines, cutting tables and finishing areas to become more efficient. We don't "piece" the work out. Each garment is sewn from beginning to end by one of our seamstresses. It takes a lot longer to manufacture this way but the results in quality and construction are worth the extra time"

"This is the unglamorous part of the business, but it's the backbone of my company. Most of our seamstresses have worked for us from 5 to 12 years and they take great pride in what they do, they are truly professionals and know how much I appreciate their efforts. I can have the best design idea in the world but that wouldn't mean anything unless it's made properly."

"When we put something in the store, every garment is checked before it goes out the door, and it's because of  this that we have almost zero returns."

"We also guarantee all workmanship and fabric and will either fix or replace anything that might go wrong within one year of purchase"
